My name is Alan McKenzie. Although I trained as a theoretical physicist, I spent all my working life applying physics to the treatment of cancer, for which I was awarded a D.Sc. in 2003 by the same university at which I gained my Ph.D. (University of St Andrews), and I went on to be awarded an O.B.E. in 2011 by Queen Elizabeth in her Birthday Honours.
The astounding message of Whispers of a Higher Reality is that it looks increasingly likely that there is a higher reality beyond our own, based on certain key discoveries of quantum mechanics, relativity and cosmology from the beginning of the 20th century right up to the present day. In this website I take you on a journey to follow the steps that bring us to such an astonishing conclusion.
Just when we think we have reached our destination, however, we discover that the very signposts that took us to the higher reality were all the time pointing to a grander and vastly more profound mystery: it seems that the results of these quantum experiments cannot occur without what now appears to have been “active input” to the infrastructure of our whole cosmos!
